120 YEARS OF MOTORIZED MASTERPIECES FROM THE HAAS MOTO MUSEUM
—
I’ve picked up “The Motorcycle: The Definitive Collection of the Haas Moto Museum” a dozen times in the 6 days since I’ve had it. 350 images on 250 pages covering 230 motorcycles since 1899–including 60 custom motorcycles—this is literally the perfect and much needed alternative to scrolling. Broken down into 3 sections (4 including “Sidebar: The Sculpture Gallery” which includes the very cool motorcycle jacket collection), History Hall, The Race Track, and The Custom Shop is filled with the bikes you would expect to see and dozens you wouldn’t.
Stacey Mayfield, Haas Museum Co-Founder and Director, sums up “The Motorcycle” perfectly in its’ forward:
“This book pays tribute to a museum like no other, a diverse collection thoughtfully curated by a man like no other. Although Bobby was taken from us too soon, he is very much a part of this book. The words you will read about each of the motorcycles were written by him, and stand proudly next to each bike in the Museum. As you peruse the pages, I hope the you can feel Bobby’s spirit”.
“The Motorcycle” digs deep into the bikes that it features and you will definitely feel Bobby’s passion for all things 2 wheels ️️️️️ for everyone who is a motorcycle enthusiast.
