At a Glance
Films submitted to the 2026 VAHNA Motorcycle Film Festival should be between 5–15 minutes in length and reflect the spirit of motorcycle culture and storytelling. Submissions must meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the official rules. All films must be submitted by June 30, 2026.

Submit Your Film
Films are submitted through the official VAHNA submission form found at the bottom of this page. Filmmakers will provide a private link to their film along with a brief project description. All submissions must be completed by the posted deadline to be considered.

Finalist Selection
Following the submission deadline, the VAHNA team will select 20 films for consideration. From those, 10 finalists will be chosen to screen as part of the VAHNA festival tour, where First Place, Second Place, Third Place, and Audience Choice winners will be determined.

After the top 10 films of 2026 have been selected, they will hit the road, screening in theaters across the U.S. where audiences and guest judges will help crown a winner.

Guest Speaker Series
All filmmakers who submit a film to the VAHNA Motorcycle Film Festival are invited to a private virtual guest speaker series. This is an opportunity to ask questions, gain perspective, and connect with professionals working across film, motorcycles, and creative industries.

Dylan Wineland
DP/Director
Dylan Wineland is an accomplished DP/Director based out of Salt Lake City, UT. He has traveled the world shooting documentaries and limited series for HBO, Redbull, and the Olympics, and has shot national ads and social pieces for Nike, Toyota, Polaris, Ford, BFGoodrich and many more. He is known for his ability to tell a range of emotionally driven stories through his striking imagery and thoughtful direction, as well as his uniquely timeless and artistic style. He believes that if one person can walk away from one of his films wanting to be a better person or to try something new, he has succeeded in what he has set out to do.

Daniel Fickle
Filmmaker / Director
Based in Florida, Daniel grew up with llamas and dirt bikes in a small town in Colorado. He fed his curiosity for the world by watching films, eventually steering him towards a career in filmmaking. Focused on capturing visceral imagery that embeds a human story, Daniel has worked as a commercial filmmaker with brands such as Harley Davidson, The North Face, Fjallraven and Ride 100%. With a firm belief that collaboration and sensibility is key, his directing style is influenced by directors like Jean Marc Vallee and Denis Villeneuve.

Will Wernick
Director /Screenwriter
Will Wernick is a filmmaker, writer, and director known for his work across feature films and genre storytelling. He directed the thriller Escape Room (2017) and the socially charged feature No Escape, and has credits on projects including Follow Me (2020) and Safer at Home (2021). Wernick’s work bridges commercial appeal with character-driven narratives, and he brings a thoughtful, experience-based perspective to storytelling that reflects both craft and audience engagement.

Creative Panel from Triumph North America
The Triumph creative team brings together filmmakers, designers, and brand storytellers responsible for shaping the visual language and narrative direction of one of motorcycling’s most iconic marques. Their work spans global campaigns, documentary storytelling, and product-driven films rooted in heritage, performance, and human experience. Guided by a deep respect for craft and culture, the Triumph creative team focuses on telling authentic stories that connect riders, builders, and communities across generations.
2025 Film Festival Winner - Hey Kid
Audience Choice Award
New for 2026, the VAHNA Audience Choice Award gives each member of the audience the opportunity to cast a vote in person at festival and dealership screenings. At each screening, the film receiving the most audience votes earns one point toward the overall Audience Choice Award, with the winner announced at the conclusion of the tour.
Submission Form
Submit your film using the official VAHNA submission form below. You’ll be asked to share a private downloadable link to your film and a brief project description.
If your film is selected as a Top 10 finalist, a 30–60 second trailer will be required to properly promote your film as part of the festival tour. Including a trailer at the time of submission is optional. If a trailer is not submitted initially, selected filmmakers will be given seven days from notification to provide one.
